My Illuminated Letter

In this exercise I had to make an illuminated letter. That is a decorated letter, which they used in the Middle Ages. First, I had to make a few sketches. I have chosen to draw my letter with a harp, because I told that is kind of old. After I made a sketch I draw my letter on a big sheet of paper. When I finished that I could chose how to colour it. I have chosen for it to draw the outer lines with a fine liner and then I coloured it in with ink. This is it!

My view from my window

In this exercise, I had to make a picture from out of my window. Then I had to make a sketch of it, but I had to change some things or add something in it. I chose for it to add some things. I added the tree in my garden and I coloured the tiles in different colours. Then I had to paint it with ink. This is the result!

My Zombie-girl

In this exercise I had draw a person in the style of Tim Burton. Because Tim Burton made a lot of zombies I choose to draw a Zombie-girl. When I had drawn my person I had to make a flap-book from it. To make a flap-book I had to draw the person like 50 times and with just a mm of change in it. And when you put all the 50 persons together and see them very quickly after each other, it looks like the person is moving! If you play all of mine drawings together you can see that her puppet is falling and her eyes are getting scary. Because I could't place 50 drawings on my blog, I only showed you the result! Tadaa!!!
